Fardar Express Privacy Policy

Fardar Express "the App” provides a parcel delivery and logistics management system "the Service" to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

- Parcel Add API – Used to create and store parcel shipment information including order details, customer name, delivery address, contact number, and parcel status for delivery processing.

- Reverse API – Used to manage reverse logistics operations including return shipments, failed deliveries, returned parcels, and status updates related to reverse delivery processing.

Additionally, we collect the following information independently from Shopify APIs to manage parcel deliveries and logistics:

waybill_id – The tracking number assigned to the parcel.

order_id – The order ID, invoice ID, or reference number of the parcel (optional).

parcel_weight – The weight of the parcel.

parcel_description – The description of the parcel.

recipient_name – The name of the recipient.

recipient_contact_1 – The primary contact number of the recipient.

recipient_contact_2 – The secondary contact number of the recipient (optional).

recipient_address – The full delivery address of the recipient.

recipient_city – The city of the recipient.

amount – The cash or COD amount for the parcel.

exchange – The exchange status of the parcel (1 = Exchange parcel, 0 = Normal parcel).

Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed the App:

client_id – The merchant’s Fardar Express Domestic (PVT) LTD Client ID.

api_key – The merchant’s Fardar Express Domestic (PVT) LTD API key.

Information about you and others who may access the App on behalf of your store, such as your name, address, email address, phone number, and billing information;

- recipient_name – Name of the recipient

- recipient_contact_1 – Primary phone number of the recipient

- recipient_contact_2 – Secondary phone number of the recipient (optional)

- recipient_address – Full delivery address of the recipient

- recipient_city – City of the recipient

- parcel_weight – Weight of the parcel

- parcel_description – Description of the parcel

- amount – Cash on delivery (COD) amount of the parcel

- order_id – Order ID / invoice / reference number of the parcel (if logged)

- waybill_id – Tracking number assigned to the parcel

- exchange – Exchange status of the parcel (1 = Exchange parcel, 0 = Normal parcel)

- parcel_status – Current delivery status (pending, dispatched, delivered, returned, failed)

Information about individuals who visit your store, such as their IP address, web browser details, time zone, and information about the cookies installed on the particular device. No other personal information is collected by the App beyond what is described above.

We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account, or using the following technologies:

“Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

“Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site. No other tracking technologies are used by the App.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this personal information to:

- Communicate with you regarding your parcels or account

- Optimize and improve the App's functionality

- Provide you with information necessary to manage deliveries and reverse logistics

Sharing Your Personal Information

- Fardar Express Domestic (PVT) LTD, to process shipments and manage reverse logistics

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Your Rights

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.

Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

Data Retention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records Data Retention

When you place an order through the App, we will maintain your parcel and recipient information for as long as necessary to process deliveries, manage reverse logistics, and comply with legal obligations. Once the information is no longer required for these purposes, it is securely deleted from our systems. unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
